The Barnett Reservoir Foundation and the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District are hosting the 2nd Annual Independence Day Celebration at THE REZ. This year’s celebration at Lakeshore Park in Brandon will have the bonus of a classic car cruise-in.
Cruiser-in vehicles enter at Lakeshore Park main gate and receive direction to display area from officer.
The parks will open at 2pm to the public, with activities to include kid zones, live music, food vendors, and military displays with flyovers. The lighted boat parade will begin from Main Harbor Marina at 8pm, and the fireworks show begins at 10pm. The fireworks will be launched from a barge in the middle of the lake providing all a fantastic view. Once again, Miss 103 and ClearChannel will help us count-down the launch and patrons all over the lake can tune into Miss 103 to enjoy the simulcast of the fireworks show.
The event is free to the public!
