The Sunset Concert Series, sponsored by The Crawfish King in Flowood, will debut on March 23 with the reservoir community’s own Jay Herrington on stage. The show is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., on the park’s main point on the east side of the lake.
The Crawfish King plans to serve boiled crawfish and shrimp at each of the events. The Foundation will sell hot dogs, beer, soft drinks and water.
Concerts will be held every other Thursday night — April 6 and 20, May 4 and 18 and June 1.
Admission is $5 per vehicle, with no charge for vehicles with “Rez Tags,” and $1 for walk-ins or bicycles.
No outside food or drinks will be allowed in to the park for the Concert Series, and guests are urged to bring chairs or blankets to the events.
