It is almost time for WoofStock Music Festival at the Old Trace Park on the REZ.
October is a pawsome month to get out with your friends and dogs to enjoy the best of local talent that our area offers! We will be supporting both Animal Shelters/Rescues and the first Public Dog Park which will be constructed in this very park!
WOOFSTOCK Pit Crew Grill will be open all day serving food and beverages.
Gates opens at 10am on Saturday. Entry Donations go to Completing the first Public Dog Park @ the REZ.
Walk ins: $2.00 Adult- $1.00 Child or Lakeside Parking $10.00 (Unlimited Entry Fee)
A $10.00 Cooler fee will get your personal food and drinks inside the park.

WOOFSTOCK Music Festival is held October each year during National Dog Adoption Month to promote and support responsible pet ownership. Our focus is to limit the over population of unwanted pets by the spay neuter educational information and discount opportunities introduced through our local rescues/shelters. Microchipping identification clinics will be on site. Mobile Veterinarian Clinic and Adoptable pets will be available the day of WoofStock with each shelter/rescue having an opportunity to raise additional funds and donations. A fun day with music provided by favorite local bands. There’s always great food at the WoofStock Grill and a Costume Contest for People and their Pets. You never know when there might be a clown in the crowd that starts up a parade playing a kazoo! The kids love the magic shows and of course the face painting delights all ages.
Everyone is invited to bring their family, lawn chairs, pets on leashes and plan to spend the day. Educational, fun and something for everyone is a guarantee! Water Stations and Clean Up Supplies will be available at each Shelter Tent. Coolers will be allowed this year for a $10.00 donation fee.
October is also Pitbull Awareness Month. The American Staffordshire Terrier is a misunderstood breed of dog that is loved by many responsible pet owners. These local pet owners have been the proud originators and sponsors of WoofStock Music Festival since 2013 with the help of Mayor Mary Hawkins in Madison Ms. Madison was the host site for the first WOOFSTOCK Music Festival. We strive to bring awareness to animal abuse and one day have laws in the near future that will protect those animals. HOWL, another group that was formed by these advocates Helping Overturn Wrongful Legislation is also active working with breed specific legislation.
The Pit Crew chose the “Dog Park At The REZ” as recipient of any funds raised at WoofStock to help with completion of the park. The dog park will be a means of socialization for all dogs which is mandatory for their health and safety.
