Join us for the 2014 Smokin’ on The REZ.
Combining world class BBQ, good tunes and the perfect view on a fall weekend, the 2nd annual Smokin’ on The Rez BBQ and Music Festival will be held Oct. 24-25 at Old Trace Park in Ridgeland.
Sponsored by the Barnett Reservoir Foundation, the event includes a $10,000-plus Memphis BBQ Network-sanctioned cooking contest as well as seven musical acts on the Comcast Music Stage, headlined Saturday night by the Locash Cowboys and featuring Hana Lena Saturday afternoon and Mr. Sipp, the Mississippi Blues Child, on Friday night.
Vendors will provide food and beverage. No ice chests, please.
Tickets are $10 daily and $15 for both days. Gates open 5-9 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday.
